Re: Ice cream machine presentation wed.June 7,A.M.

@Moonchilde  My mother used a cooked mixture and it did have egg in it.  I'd find tiny bits of curddled egg in my ice cream and just hated that recipe.  She was a good cook but needed a new ice cream recipe.

@Kachina624, I just never wanted to go to the bother. When I wanted ice cream I'd hand stir/mix the basics in a bowl and dump it in the machine & turn it on. 10 min before it was done I'd throw in an entire bag (twice what was required) of Toll House mini-chips. Heaven.

I hope I have some really good cooks here, which I am not.  I have a Vitamix, one of the newer ones.  I tried making ice cream and it was watery.  Does anyone have a simple recipe for ice cream.  I have frozen strawberries and milk, but I really need someone to let me know the process, procedure, whatever that would work for me.  I just want a snack. I tried to watch the presentation but did not see how it was done.  I only saw a presentation of colors and  David eating the finished product.  I guess I missed it.

Go to the Vitamix website, they have great recipes for ice creams and everything else you can make in it. Enjoy!
