How is it possible?

I bought 2 of the same item for teacher's gifts and for family members. I paid extra for priority shipping. How is it possible that I received the set I didn't pay extra for first and am still waiting for the other set to arrive. Tomorrow is the last day of school. The set I received was for family members and isn't really the style I would want to give to teachers. Can anyone explain how this is possible? Why did I bother paying extra?
