Re: How about some new models?

They should have ""size"" models. Then the model who tries on the items could say that she normally wears say a medium and the item either fits or she would go up or down a size. Then we would have a better idea of what size might fit and how it would look. Rarely are there petite models. The models are Q employees many who worked at the Q for years. They shouldn't lose their job just because we want to see new faces. Since I am 50 plus I like seeing models closer to my age wearing the fashions. But that just IMO!

I do appreciate model who wear sizes 12 - 16 which many American wear as well as the plus size models. In the final analysis, it's about increasing sales.

While some of the models that QVC uses are long time QVC models. They AREN'T QVC employees. They're employed by various modeling agencies in the Philadelphia area. Do a Google search of Philadelphia modeling agencies and you will find several models that appear on QVC.

The models are not QVC employees, they are employed by modeling agencies. I know this b/c the model Brenda lives in my neighborhood and in the same apartment building as one of my very good friends.

Re: How about some new models?

Are you buying the models or the items /clothes/jewelry they are presenting? It's their job and why would you want to see any of them lose that job? Maybe people at your job should be let go and hire a whole new crew! Then I guess you would be gone also and I don't think you'd like that very much. I really dislike saying this to the OP, but your comments are so mean and completely uncalled for. Shame on you for wanting to see people get fired.

To the OP ........ Suzanne is way too old to be wearing her long straight hair .... ???

What the heck are you talking about .... and since when is there an "age limit" for having long hair? I don't really know, but I bet she's a Wen girl! LOL

I like Suzanne, Stacy, the Maria's, Joy, etc. Clearly Suzanne must be a favorite, because she certainly models for everyone. QVC does have a good mix. I think it is a distraction when you look at the model and not the merchandise.

Re: How about some new models?

They use these models because we are familiar with them and they get favorable comments for the most part. The models also know the ropes and don't need training. QVC has a rather demanding schedule, I used to have severe insomnia and I would notice the same girls in the middle of the night that had worked for that line during the day. That might be a deal breaker for some models.
