I don't know exactly why QVC 2 is hosted by vendors instead of QVC hosts but you say it's live when it really is remote. This is NOT a LIVE format and I literally hate watching QVC 2 now for this reason. My interest gets lost very quickly when you go from host to host and is only like a zoom meeting. I would have thought with QVC2 you would want it to continue as before. Surely i can't be the only one that does not like this form of your programming. Please go back to true LIVE and not just a Zoom presentation. It is too confusing and does not keep you interested in your products. I don't know how you can call this live when it is done remotely!!!! Hope you will reconsider this format. It's just not working for me....i use to be able to switch from Qvc to Qvc2 and watch with hosts. I don't like some nights on Qvc like Mondays because all day and night it is fashion so therefore i could go to Qvc2 and watch something other but now you guys have ruined it...too bad. I hope it improves...

I am watching Q2 now without the host and have watched this format before on  Q2.  I like it much better for so many reasons.  The people selling the items give detail descriptions,  focus on the product and provide all the information I need.  There isn't a host interrupting to tell how many are flying out the door, how many are left, repeating the same old tiresome selling points.  I don't have to listen to family stories, inane chatter, duos who giggle and talk loudly.  I am not saying all hosts are like that, there are hosts with professionalism and who are polite.

I don't want to be entertained, I just want to hear the pertinent information about the product and make a decision whether or not to buy, my decision.  To each his or her own, I enjoy this format.

Obviously they call it live because it's done in real time.  The person is talking right now as you watch.  That ought to be self-explanatory.  The fact that the venue is something other than a studio makes no difference.  I think most of the vendors do a remarkable job.

I don't like vendors hosting either. I don't watch Q2 when vendors are hosting. I also haven't been able to get used to vendors presenting from their homes. The sound and/or lighting is often bad. And it drives me crazy when the hosts and vendors talk over each other. I just wish it could be like it used to be with everyone in studio. Oh well....

This is TRUE LIVE.  The Vendors are hosting a live show from their various locations.  Not my favorite format either so I just don't watch those shows but it is in fact a live show and not a recorded one.

Not understanding why at this point QVC hasn't invited vendors back into the studio at all.  The only vendor allowed is the Cooks Essestials rep.  You would think at this far gone point that at least the Today's Special Value representative would be in studio.  Some of the vendors have an extraordinarily bad transmission.

@Gatesy
Q2 is indeed LIVE from 11:am to midnight -- real LIVE shows.  When it's the vendor-only shows, they are still LIVE, there's just no host for those shows.

Vendors are presenting "live"...from their homes.  Live television is broadcast in real-time, as events happen, in the present. It's not taped earlier to be presented at a later date.

I watched the Bethlehem Lights vendor last night.  She did a great job. Much more detail presented than with hosts who take up too much time using sales tactics with what I call manipulating shoppers into buying something.

I would probably watch QVC if all the hosts were gone and the vendors would sell their products.  Then it would be a true shopping network and not some sort of pseudo-entertainment channel.

And of course, it's live.  Just because the vendors aren't in the studio doesn't make it any less "live."

I don't think most vendors will ever return to QVC studios.  Let's face it, that involves traveling from their homes, staying in hotels and giving up personal time.  If a vendor is on from his or her home, then he or she does the hour and is finished.  If I present at the studio, I have to trek to PA, stay in a hotel, do my presentation and then find something to do the rest of the time I'm there.  That comes at both a financial and personal cost.  What I don't like from the remote locations is the sound quality, especially when people are in their basements.  THAT they must improve.
