I go by the size charts for each item and though it works out well most of the time, I can't say that it does every time.  Even in some colors on the same items, one will look good and the other not so much.

I'm also a very visual person so I find that it helps me to see hosts & models and knowing what size they are wearing. 

I find that the model Crystal is the closest to me in size.  Usually if something looks good on her it will work for me too.

@Puppy Lips I think @SamBrown meant huge compared to brick and mortar stores. I'm generally a small in the stores but with QVC I have to get an XXS or XS. The smalls end up 2-3" too big in my waist and hips. Small dresses are even larger for me and some XXS are too big. I can't imagine a true XXS person able to purchase clothes from QVC.

Basically, we all know, QVC has vanity sizing so most of us have to size down 2 sizes from our real size.

Gee, if only we could know the measurements of the hosts and models along with their height.

The way I see it is there is much in this life that is truly upsetting because they affect my life, not what size the hosts say they are or are not.   Breathe.  Worry about what us important

@Teddixat I agree with you.  But it is important to not waste money if at all possible.  That is why customers should look at the garment measurements online, and not rely on what size the host says she is wearing. Frankly, I don't think the hosts should be putting on the clothes at all.  But since they are the ones that are talking, I guess they can give a better description while wearing said item.

Oh but we do know the measurements of the models they display that info on air usually in the upper left hand corner of your tv screen.

And they’ve been showing the models names with measurements on the items page on .com and the app too.


Very handy and I think it all came about when they asked us for feedback via the hosts social media accounts many months ago. 🤗🤗🤗

Thanks for putting this one out there... I think bras size is also worth mentioning along with the height and size comments. Chest size  makes a very big difference in how something fits and looks. I don't like tight in the bust and shoulders (which also contributes to the garment length). I know my measurements, but find all the info like garment laying flat measures xyz across etc confusing as each garment has a personality - luckily most of the size charts simple language. The reason this is even a thing is if we get it wrong, shipping fees and hassles take away from the purchase, not to mention time. It takes a long time for the item to arrive in many cases. 

I had a terribe experience with an HSN represenative,  I got the impression they work from home with little to no inhouse  support based on my interactions. I could not do the exchange on the computer so i called and told them I just wanted to make an exchange. She said the computer won't allow that. She said I have to get the same item only. I said that made no sense!! Why would I exchange something for the exact same item?? She said i had to return it and buy it at whatever the current price is!! I said no, the hosts advertise we can exchange for different size, color or scent. She said no and that she would talk to them about saying that on air...what??!! In the end they sent me the item I wanted but said to keep the other one too. I am an honest person and wasn't out to one up anyone. HSN needs to look at their interactive computer program. I don't think this is a good business model. 

PS and by the way, I'm pretty sure the over used "half inch" might be a thing of the past for some women, as perimenopause and beyond has a way of taking that half inch away!! I roll my eyes every time.. if your a 32 A cup and 5'2.5" that is very different than 5'2.5" 36 D. So your XXS doesn't equate to just your 5'2.5" height.. more information than height otherwise don't even say size, just the height.
