I had this problem with HSN, and now I’m seeing it on QVC too. It is absolutely clear that hosts lie about their sizing. Why? It doesn’t help us customers at all when we are trying to shop through the TV. A short, curvy woman with hips CANNOT be the same size as a tall thin woman. If hosts don’t want to reveal their true size, why not just rely on the models? QVC needs to do something.
Why are you relying on the sizes of the host in the first place? On every single item description at the very end, is the "click here" for the ACTUAL garment measurements. I never rely on anything the hosts say, including the sizing chart, I only look at the actual measurements of the garments in every size. I never have to return clothes because they always fit..

Maybe the host was referring to her shoe size...

I literally laugh when spme pf the hosts say "I'm 5'6" and wearing a size 6, it's plenty roomy". REALLY? Well I'm 5/7" but there is no way I'm getting my fat butt into a 6! LOL!!!

And there's THIS:
I am 4'10" and my friend is 6'even. We wear THE SAME SIZE...

Hosts want you to think clothes make you look thinner. What size a host wears is just more hype to sell a product.
Some people want clothes to fit snug or tight. Others want them looser. I don't care either way. It's their choice and none of my business.
I never consider hosts' sizes when looking at something.

@HuskysMommy It is possible and saw it first hand. The shorter one probably was larger framed and taller one was more than likely smaller framed! That is why it is better to go by size chart! I found out that a woman much taller than me and sort of pudgy looking was the same size as me and I was shorter with a larger frame that made my clothes look great and well fitted. She had very slight shoulders and frame as well as a fatty middle. She actually was the one who could not believe it.

She surely had to make alterations unless she's short, too!

*I* was the one who had to shorten everything...
She "looked" thinner, but we had the same meaurements, except for height.

Do ya think it is a sales technique? There is a host that is the same height as I am, but a little pudgier than me and tells us all that her size is small. I just do not believe her.
