@Kachina624  Someone had mentioned on another thread that the hosts are in line with the current trend of everyone dressing more casually for work---while they may be true if one works in an office setting---BUT I do NOT see any of the local news teams or national news teams, or even talk show or game show hosts dress like they just got out of bed threw something on or looked like they were headed to the beach...People that are employed anywhere in TV Land are still dressing professionally.....especially with all those stylists on hand you'd think they would look professional.....Even when selling casual clothes there is a way you can look nice and put together, (I think Carolyn does when selling D&C) unfortuantely some hosts don't and put together some outfits that are not appropriate for their job.....

I agree.  PM Style was off the wall nuts Monday night.

I really dont enjoy watching QVC during December. The hosts are off the charts and it's hard sell. I know it's their busy season, but I rarely look, except to see what's showing that hour...

Many viewers with a difference of opinions.  I myself enjoy watching most of the time.  If a host or product is on that does not interest me, I find something else to occupy my time.

Of course you're right @Spurt. There at least should be a level that below they cannot sink. The Q is like some businesses who call for "casual" Friday. Only at the Q, this means a new low for casual. Be as bizarre as you like, is casual to many. Some hosts look nice all the time and have some respect for their profession. Others, either don't know or don't give a toot ! And their employers obviously don't, either.

We can ONLY hope TPTB read this thread. I was just thinking early today, when I TRIED to watch Susan....QVC is nothing like it used to be. I rarely watch anymore. It's too frustrating. In fact I rarely BUY, their prices are sky high! quality is NOT what it used to be. NOTHING is what it used to be!!!

@susan used to be good, but no more. I just bought two pair of her jeggings. They said the hip was 36", and it came in petite. The inseam was 28". I thought I had this nailed and ordered two pair. If you can believe this, the jeggings were perfect @ 36" hip, but the waist was THIRTY INCHES. Yuuuuuge. I kept them to get altered and they're still just sitting in my closet unaltered. Chinese haven't hot American sizes down pat, yet! I feel like you can't win anymore.

When I look at the program guide, I DVR any presentation I might be interested in.  That way I can watch when I want and fast forward thru the nonsense and skip the product reps that drive me nuts.  I find myself watching less and less - no new products and the personal stories from the hosts are not interesting to me.  There are a couple of hosts and reps that drive me nuts so I immediately change the channel.

LOL...I thought I was the only one that felt like this. I told my husband that it seems like the presentations anymore are just full of giggles, jumping and hopping here and there, random shouts and yelling from people off camera, etc! I understand that you have to have fun at work. I totally, TOTALLY get that. However, sometimes it goes a little over the top. I saw a presentation one morning while getting ready for work, and the host was talking about her family members. She said they go into a frenzy when their phones are about dead. She demonstrated by dashing off camera and dashed back on. I thought, "wow...okaaaaaaaay."Smiley Embarassed It was kind of funny, but I understood completely w/o her doing that. At first I thought, "maybe she thought she could get away w/it bc it was in the wee hours of the morning." But then, I thought about how some of the presentations are goofy during the mid-day as well!

Hey, I'm all about having a good time, but I think they should make sure they present the item well. That should be 1st priority.

I've always hated the rulers.  I go by how the ring looks on the finger and whole hand.

I do agree with everything else.

Love Alberti. No nonsense, to the point explanations of the product, a little personality thrown in, always impeccably dressed & manicured (not loving the blue, sparkly polish on hosts doing jewelry shows...distracting & IMO unprofessional. Maybe that's why new hosts pictured w/ HIM for some training.
