And giving item numbers! So few hosts do that any more. And Amy Stran on the LOGO shows never gives item numbers. Please give the item numbers! I have old, small TV sets and my eyes aren't getting any better as I age. Item numbers please. I really feel sorry for the blind QVC customers who never get item numbers any more because the hosts don't mention them much.

We can ONLY hope TPTB read this thread. I was just thinking early today, when I TRIED to watch Susan....QVC is nothing like it used to be. I rarely watch anymore. It's too frustrating. In fact I rarely BUY, their prices are sky high! quality is NOT what it used to be. NOTHING is what it used to be!!!

QVC needs to understand that we watch to buy. The silly, not entertaining antics from many of the show hosts is a click channel change for me.
As an FYI, for this year, I have purchased just 2 items. Do I buy stuff, yes I do---everywhere not QVC.

People are always comparing the Big 3 shopping channels. QVC is the only one of the three that promotes their hosts like a combination of celebrities and your BFF. The other channels do not promote or accentuate their hosts in any way, and also don't have unnecessarily tricked out sets, etc. The other two present the product, which should speak for itself with the host providing more information.
Yet according to the revenue figures QVC, who gives us "host-lebrities", your BFF, and fairy wonderland sets, and mediocre merchandise with deals no more special than the other two channels, blows them out of the water earnings-wise.
I prefer the host just saying here's what it is and here's what it does, without the PT Barnum atmosphere - but if ol' PT's methods are what is making the difference, it must mean some people out there are pulled in to watch and buy BECAUSE of the "entertainment." Go figure.

Was this the show that Kerstin ran through on her tablet yelling she was odering one right now on .com? What is happening to QVC? Have they lost their minds? Does the younger generation (if this is who they are trying to appeal to) actually act like these people?

Well lets find out which shopping channel brings in the most revenue for the company. And I am betting that it is QVC by a land slide so if it is QVC then it is because their employees are doing a good job selling the items they are presenting. So no need to knock them and nit pick every thing they do that irks you they are doing the job and making the company money.

When one hawks the same products since July, one might lose their senses.

Probably MILLENIALS are training the hosts. Unfortunately, that is not the demographic that is WATCHING them!

It seems like QVC is encouraging them to be interesting so people look them up on Facebook so viewers can see more QVC product links there.
