Why doesn't QVC switch the Hosts to Models and the Models to Hosts?

The hosts are always trying to do the Models job.  If I was one of the Models I would be upset.  The hosts are always trying to take over the models job.  Certain hosts are out there like "Look at Me."

I agree.........especially Kerstin.....she always has to change into the swimsuits she's presenting. Let the models do their jobs!

I think the hosts work for QVC  and their actions must be encouraged because so many of them frequently change during the shows.  

Some of the models might make good hosts, but given how many vendor reps get ripped apart, I do wonder what would happen if the models all became hosts.  No idea how they'd run the whole show until they're responsible and were now employees of QVC instead of the modeling company.  It's a different role with different pressures.

The models get the same pay no matter what!!  Pretty sure they do not care one way or the other!

Hosts are  doing what their bosses tell them to.

I don't see why the host has to run off and change into a different colored sweater in the middle of a presentation. Looking at different size models is more important than colors.

@Pixie12 I often wondered about that as well. It seems so silly and a waste of time...I guess if the color they have on sells out, the producer probably tells the host to change to a color that is still available. At any rate, it seems silly, the mdoels are there to do their job, and the hosts should not have to do that..

AS is the worst on this. Enough already, I am sure there are plenty of people not in her mini size.

While I understand we all have our personal preferences🥰, I am truly perplexed about this one🤷‍♀️.

Interchange between the models and hosts makes perfect business sense, because you get various ideas about styling options, and see different body types in the clothing.😊 This can AID the consumer in making an informed decision; potentially boosting SALES, and can also help save the hassle and expense of dreaded returns!😊

@Catastrophe. To be a host takes a much higher level of skill.  Not everyone is eloquent enough or has the gift of gab.

There was a model once who went through training and a trial period as a host.   She didn't make it,  either her decision or QVC's.
