I noticed last night, Mally has cut hers down quite a bit, they looked very nice.

I was watching Shawn last night and her fingernails were HORRIBLE.  With all the nail products at QVC you would think she could at least file and polish her nails with a light color.  I was totally GROSSED out.

I think the hosts on JTV have the lovliest nails,  pleasure to watch, their mgmt. is very strict on hosts nails.

Totally agree! I'm all about trendy and fashionable nails but this is a business and the loooon nails with the trendy colors, tips and so on become distracting. Especially those that just became Mother's....i mean really how do you manage the baby with the loooong nails,

I do believe there used to be one, even if I recall no open toed shoes on Sunday, but that is not my point. Hosts are professionals. Their hands can certainly be an expression of their personality but when super long, ornamented and fashion trendy colors, it's just tacky. Maybe not to some audiences but to the middle aged range folks.

There can always be a dress code or recommended code. Hosts are professionals and even in today's world professional dressing (which includes nailes and hygeine) is critical. Trendy is just that "trendy" QVC needs to know their audience of who is purchasing their products, it's not a tick tock video or a hype.  I do enjoy QVC and HSN, but I do like the hosts the most that keep their appearance professional, and that includes their nail lengths and polishes.
