@Texas Gray Wolf wrote:Edited my response: I remember back in the day, the hosts' nails did not take away/distract from the product. Their nails had a 'nice clean' look....it was obvious to see. Jill Bauer had the prettiest nails....like a white frosty color which goes with everything.....
@Texas Gray Wolf I remember that too. Many wore a french manicure or pale color on the nails. Mary Beth was someone that always looked like she just got a manicure.

Just checked out QVC on air for first time in quite a while. Two hosts were doing Ethel M products and their nails were horrible. They were fairly short but didn't look like they had any mani ( only a fast, neutral polish and only one coat). I thought they both looked sloppy and I'm saying this as someone who completely skips maniccures.

I'm sure it was some very intricate design, and it may have been nicer if you could detect what it was, which even up close as she was demononstrating a product, you just couldn't make out what it was. It just looked like a mess, as if her nail polish had worn off from the cuticle area downward. It looked splotchy and messy.
I'm sure she sat in the manicurists chair a good bit of time to get this look, but it didn't work for me.
I don't care for this kind of nail art, I don't even like the thing about one nail being a different color than the other four nails on a hand.
@blueroses47 I've never cared for her nail choices . I truly wish qvc would inform hosts that no more crazy shades , art etc. just French manicures , or light shades. nice and clean which doesn't distract from what they are presenting.

The male hosts usually do a good job with buffing and trimming, there is one female host that I can think of specifically who needs to figure out if she is going to keep getting manicures or go natural, and if so, take of her nails.
I am not curious how someone changes a diaper with nails like that, but the host is not a unicorn and countless women in the country and world have figured it out for a long time.
Maybe she doesn't change diapers , could have a nanny . I know I wouldn't have had long nails when my kids were babies , can't imagine what would get under those nails yuck !🤢.actually I can 😂 and it isn't sanitary or something one would want !

hi @RescueLover 🌲
your right I don't ever remember Jane having daggers before Courtney . I see Jane took them off and has short nails now .
I still don't see how one changes diapers with very long nails yuck !
btw how's your Christmas decorating coming along ? I'm finally finished as of today!!

I know the hosts on JTV are only allowed to wear French type manis or whites and very light pastels.
