OK QVC - It seems you have taken the host, and some vendors, recipe page down.

I have used this many times in the past, as I'm sure others have. I don't have time to watch a video, and I don't have time to wade through the myriad of recipes online. I trusted QVC, and I especially enjoyed the recipes recommended by David.

You want us to buy the cooking vessels you offer, and many times a host or vendor recommended a specific one.

This made it easier to log on and know you could make a recipe that was recommended by a host.  Again, we already knew it would be good. I also liked the many categories offered.

Please consider bringing this page back!

@beach-mom

Must be a glitch just like a lot on this site. Maybe they were trying to fix something and it got lost in the process

Could social team email help?

@rockygems123 - IDK. Do they check here, or do you think it would be a good idea to email them?

Re: Host Recipe Page

@beach-mom  I sent an email to the social team.  I asked him where I could find the old ITKW David Recipes and explained that they're used often by many people, including a friend who lost many of those recipes in a flood.

Here is the one line response I received from Melvin.

Hi, Here is a link  to David’s recipe corner where he demonstrates a lot of his recipes.  Enjoy!

So, I guess the original one is no longer available, only the new recipes.

Thanks for doing that @ciao_bella! I guess they want us to watch the videos. But they can't feature as many recipes this way.

I used a lot of Meredith's (Blue Jean Chef) recipes from that page too. I don't think she's an official QVC now, so I understand if they don't want to include her recipes, and those of former hosts. But DAVID's recipes? C'mon!  Smiley Wink

@beach-mom  I'm in total agreement with you!  Since Melvin included the link in his email, I went to see it.  It's more about selling the pots, pans, dishes, etc, he's using then about the actual recipe.   Honestly, I'm not interested in viewing it.

Much easier to Google recipes, see reviews, have the actual recipe there to copy.

Re: Host Recipe Page

QVC knows exactly how many times the recipies were clicked, accessed and opened every hour of every single day.

The activity was likely not worth the trouble of maintenance and upkeep and storage.

Considering the financial pressures, I don't blame them for abandoning the hassle.

@beach-mom  Thanks for noticing this & bringing to Qs attention.  Also affects recipes from different hosts, vendors, guests.  I know when a vendor brings in a new product & shows how to use/cook/display it I appreciate recipes being on website so when I receive it I can check out recipe posted on website to know what Im doing.

@beach-mom - I'm pretty sure the recipes have been gone for more than a year now, even though David still occasionally references his "recipe page on the website" during ITKWD. Interestingly, no matter which host or brand photo you click on the placeholder page for QVC recipes, it will take you the now-nonexistent page for David's recipes:
qvc.com/recipes/recipes.html

But if you want Meredith's recipes, she has a huuuuuge collection on her own website, bluejeanchef.com, and you can sometimes get the Kindle versions of a few of her cookbooks for as little as $1 on Amazon. We love her recipes—I actually have a bookmark folder in my browser with links to a couple dozen of her dessert recipes that I'm still looking for time to test.  Smiley Wink
