I wouldnt wait 10 minutes.
I go and look for what I want. Its not like you can't do internet searches.
Strange perspective in my opinion.
@LizzieInSRQ I’m not ‘waiting’ for QVC to supply my home. I’m pointing out a long‑term shift in their buying strategy. When a retailer stops serving part of its customer base, it’s worth discussing, especially when the demand is obvious. I think it's strange that you think that's strange.
The first line of your post was literally "I've been waiting a decade..."
The only reason everyone thinks QVC used to sell so many unique or hard to find items is because there was nothing to compare it to.
The internet hadn't been invented yet so there was no way to shop the world from one's home. We watched QVC and saw something we hadn't seen in the mall or even a catalog.
During that timeframe, they also sold a ton of collectibles and higher end jewelry. Very few people would buy those kinds of collectibles (I finally gave away my last Boyd's Bears and Tiffany style lamp) even with the disposable income.
I also think the statement " the demand is obvious " is odd and has no metrics to back it up.

First of all, your comments are very peculiar. it's amusing how you and the other poster think the phrase "waiting for ten years" somehow implies I'm sitting around checking QVC every five minutes and tossing and turning at night about this.
Second, the internet existed long before QVC narrowed its home décor assortment, so that explanation doesn’t hold. And the demand question is easy: elevated pieces sell out immediately when they appear. That’s the only metric that matters. If you'd like some kind of proof, would that be some kind of statistical analysis and spreadsheets? Yeah, I'll get right on that.
My post isn’t about collectibles from the 90s. It’s about QVC abandoning a segment of its current customer base that they still manage to serve in other categories.

Well I also never understood why they don't occasionally features items from Ballard Designs, Frontgate, or Grandin Road. (Perhaps there were a couple of things at Halloween.)
To me it seems an obviously simple tie-in and a win-win for QVC Group. I believe in the past some accessory items have been used on QVC sets. How difficult would it be to spend 30 seconds pointing them out, mention where they could be found, or featured on the Recently Aired Items page? Do they not care about the bottom line of all of their companies???

It's difficult for me to imagine Q offering high end luxury anythng these days, let alone home decor.
There are many places to shop that would actually offer what you say you want.

They need to have Janine Graff and her line on more often. She has beautiful things and her prices are pretty good as well. She has a good eye.....
QVC, please give her more air time!!!!
