Has anyone shipped anything lately to Puerto Rico? I sell a few beauty products on ebay and I only ship to the US. I've shipped over 450 packages and never had anyone from Puerto Rico bid and especially win an auction.

Now I have no idea how much it's going to cost on a 1 pound item and how long it will take. Has anyone sent anything lately to Puerto Rico or at any time.

I read it's the same as regular states but I'm not too sure about that!

Just go to usps.com and punch in the information for shipping and it will tell you EXACTLY what services are available and what the costs are.

Thanks....I've done that guessing on the weight but I was wondering if anyone has sent something lately and if the rates are around the same as I've read they are.

I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I bring it to the post office.

The first post office wouldn't accept the package cuz the address wouldn't come up. I notified the buyer but of course no response. I went to another post office and they did accept it so hopefully it makes it to its destination. The buyer still hasn't answered me but the cost was about the same as other US states.

Puerto Rico is not a foreign country. Postage going their may be higher than it is to the 48 contiguous states, as it is to Alaska and Hawaii.

And Puerto Rico is not a US state, it's a territory
