Handbags too Large or too Small

Why does QVC never ever offer a medium size handbag. They are either too small and cost $189 or they are too large and cost $398. Not everyone wants a bag that is like a suitcase hanging off of your shoulder....or a teeny tiny bag that will not hold anything.

The perfect size for a handbag is such a personal choice. I don't know, it seems to me they offer a pretty wide ranges of sizes between the handful of brands they make available.

I agree! I don't want a suitcase; I don't want a cosmetic bag.

I want that elusive MEDIUM purse!

I wanted an all leather purse with SILVER hardware ..... and it took me over a year to find one!

They don't fall all over themselves to give us variety, that's for sure! {#emotions_dlg.angry}

Variety seems to be a thing of the past here, whether talking purses or not!

Re: Handbags too Large or too Small

Personally, I think most of the bags sold on QVC are way too expensive. I also think the majority of bags are huge and overly adorned with buckles, hardware etc. A bag should be "carried" by the owner to enhance their overall look, not the owner be carried by the bag. Huge bags of bold color take away from the person's style and I guess if you don't want noticed ....carry a huge bag and people will only see that item, not you. If you have that much stuff to carry, you might as well carry a suitcase. Sooner of later that much weight on ones shoulder will only cause back problems later in life.

ITA. It seems to be the trend over the last 18 months-2 years. Most
of the shopping channels offer only very expensive purses. Of course, it could also be that I am somewhat cheapSmile Even so, I was sorely tempted by the last Iman/Joy TSV handbag and also the last GILI TSV bag - that natural ostrich was so beautiful!

I heard some ""style expert"" on tv today say you must have a ""massive"" handbag to be stylish......guess I will be out of style. I hate bags so big you can't find anything in them and they are overwhelming in size.....or the ones so small my iphone won't even fit! I think you can find most bags for much less money anywhere else than QVC. Incredibly overpriced.

I'm looking for a medium handbag with one shoulder strap. I don't like the little handles and a crossbody strap. Either/or is best for me!

I'd like to see convertible f*nny packs (waist packs). Which can be used as a crossbody and/or waist pack/bag. Preferably leather or a durable nylon.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
