HSN vs QVC safety precautions

I am curious how HSN still has vendors on, or their designated representative, standing so much closer to the host or models than QVC.  QVC (PA) has gone almost entirely remote with vendors with just a host on the set with one or two models. I realize (FL) has not instituted strict policies like Mass, NY, California, RI and countless other states but why not be consistent and show you are at least doing the very best to be proactive during this current health crisis.  Just a suggestion from someone who is working from home for the forseeable future as designated by the states I work and live in, this is aggravating to watch.  Seeing these actions on TV make a difference to the watcher and make people understand the severity of this situation we are all in together.

@ajsidney12  I also mentioned this before but  was tuning in periodically yesterday and today and noticed that the vendors are at one side of the counter and the host on the other. At least they were during Korres presentation. I agree though that the vendors should skype by phone like on QVC or have no vendors at all. The hosts have presented these products over and over so they should be able to do the job without a vendor.

Re: HSN vs QVC safety precautions

The Q has been doing an excellent job of maintaining social distance, and sanitary guidelines. I have not watched HSN as much lately, but I noticed that Guliana RancicSkyped from home for her TSV presentations, so perhaps they are now working to be in compliance as well.🤞

@LuvmyLab  I was watching tonight the Giuliana presentation and while she was actually on Skype, the garment rack that Amy and the rep were standing either side on was not 6-0", and Amy kept walking over to the model area.  I have no idea why they are having additional people in studio, less is more these days folks.  Now there is a shoe presentation and they do seem to be further apart in this case.

Re: HSN vs QVC safety precautions

The other day Colleen was doing her gem show and did all of her own rearranging of the jewelry she was presenting.  She had one model and she stayed at least 6 feet away from her at all times.   I am wondering the same thing, why on some shows they don't seem to be following guidelines.   The vendor's should absolutely not be in the studio.  Guilliana had someone there in her place presenting the TS yesterday while she was safe at home????

I like the vendors being remote. And the social distancing of the models from the host. I can see the product better when the model demonstrates it. The vendors are chatty and the product is not seen. They show the vendor.
