My query is why DO  they have to eat it?  It doesn't matter to me either way, but as a poster said earlier---you buy food all the time without seeing someone bite into it.  Also, I can do without the over-exaggerated facial expressions made by hosts when they used to eat the food.  I mean, it could be the worst-tasting thing there is and the host will ooh and ahh and say it's wonderful.  I'm fine with them not eating it.
