Why are jewelry and clothing items featured on a gourmet food show?!
So annoying. Either it's a food show or a clothing show, but don't mix them!
And why spend over one hour or more of a three-hour show hawking the gourmet special food value? Used as filler because of lack of number of products????

I don't understand the distress and angst.
Hosts have mentioned clothing, accessories and footwear on food shows for quite sometime.
Makes terrific marketing sense to me, as posters frequently ask about what a host was wearing on a non-fashion show.
Smart cross-selling; capture an audience with multiple opportunities. Show as many different categories as possible within a show. Sheer genius.

I find the recent trend of interspersing cosmetic with clothing during Kim Gravel's FASHION shows to be very annoying because I'm not remotely interested in her make up.
I usually change the channel to the morning news and frequently forget to turn it back. Good way to lose customers.

Doesn't the mentioning of an article the host wears take about 30 seconds?
Guess I don't see a problem?

its the not the mentioning that is the problem, it is showing food over and over again n shows that are foucesed on fa******on and accessories. There are enough food shows on and I do not watch them as I am not into overly expensive food that I dont have freezer space for. So I dont watch when they are on, but I dont then want to see them for 15 minutes presentations outside a food or kitchen show. it makes me turn the channel and as most people say dont go baack.

Well, I'm the opposite as I'm not interested in her clothing but do like to see the makeup so it makes sense to me.

I find it annoying while I am looking at a food show all of a sudden I have to look at a male hosts feet! if I was interested in buying men's shoes I wouldn't be looking at a food show!

It would make sense if they inserted a product by announcing it coming up on the next show. Otherwise, it's just weird on a food show.
