Re: Gotta do better than this

@Sueliz

I just checked and it says "shipped".........wow..lol  that was fast.....lol  but I checked

tracking and it says," sent notice to mail invotations for pick up."

I do not think QVC knows people use e-mail or instant messaging  now for quick info shareing. They have pleanty of time to cancel a product. They act like there is no way to contact anyone.

Re: Gotta do better than this

@SharkE, this is OT but I was wondering how those insulated coolers you purchased are working out? Do they keep items cold as advertised? I am interested in purchasing for items I get from the grocery store. I won't have to rush home in this heat.

Well, not worth a ****. I was real disappointed. We put a freezie pop you know one of those sippy frozen juice tube things in it put the cooler out in the car in the driveway. Checked on it in a half hr. it was melted all to h***.

Hubbo said he knew it wasn't gonna keep nothing frozen because it was real lightwgt and styofoam like and you could see light at the corner. I had to satisfy myself so got one, but, it's back to the cooler and freeze packs for me sorry to say.   I might buy a Yenti cooler one of these days when I get some money I don't need LOL   They're being advertised now 25% off. @DJs mom

@SharkE, thanks for your review. I really appreciate it. Just wondering when you put the freeze pop in (I have a 9yr old son who lives on freeze pops in the summer, so my freezer stays stocked with them) was the cooler full or did you ball up plastic bags and place in the cooler? I'm asking b/c I heard the vendor say if you don't fill the cooler up to use balled up bags or something so there is no space. I'm guessing this is what makes them stay cool, maybe no air pockets??

Re: Gotta do better than this

When I watched I didn't hear her say that LOL

I thought the whole idea was just throw something in there and didn't have to do anything.

Think I'll go back and watch the video maybe I didn't have the sense to do what you were suppose to do. LOL

she acted like no freezy packs, etc. I'll watch it again . Hubbo ordered me some cold freezer pads from some magazine and now we're gonna try putting one on the bottom and then cover up the items with more cold pads

Re: Gotta do better than this

@SharkE, I've seen a couple of presentations of this and she didn't say it in all of them. I think only when the host (may have been David, but could be wrong) asked if you had to fill the container up for it to keep cold and she said yes, if not stuff with bags or something. I remember this b/c they kept showing how it held so many sodas and waters, etc and I'm thinking, well I won't need it for that much, just maybe ice cream and other small things when I'm coming from the store. Since you have them, give this a shot before returning. If this doesn't work, then you are correct its not as advertised.

Re: Gotta do better than this

The first one I got was damaged in shipping.

They paid to ship it back.

then when they sent me the new one, they sent 2 , this time.

One of the mods here said just keep it, so, I really have 2 XL's.

yeah, I can try that I guess.

Re: Gotta do better than this

@SharkE As with all coolers, the more cold/ frozen things you have in there, the longer it will remain cold.

there is no way that a cool pop will last in a big space without melting.  The air in the box is warm. One cool pop can't cool down a large space.  If you had a big box of frozen cool pops and cold meat and some ice cream and things to fill up the box, all of the items would stay cold or frozen.  The more cold/ frozen things you put in the box, the longer it will keep things cold.

Now if that cooler box was almost the size of that one cool pop, it would remain frozen for a while.
