I am alarmed that George's clothes are all on clearance. Will he continue on QVC?

I hope that he is not sick. Please let shoppers know his status.

I'd guess George doesn't need or want to be on the Q anymore.  I never bought any of his designs - too fuddy duddy for me.  My mom would have liked them back in the 40rds but bow-tie scarf at the neckline just isn't my style.  Same for Mackie's designs.

George Simonton had some of the best made clothes on QVC. I have several of his wool coats which are so well tailored and made rom high quality fabric. In the past couple of years, most of his clothes like many of the other lines have switched to polyester fabrics that just look cheap to me. I'd love to see more of his classics back.

I wonder if it became impossible to bring the quality he wanted at QVC's price points. Once his line shifted to so much poly, I felt it suffered. Then again, maybe he has many irons in the fire and it was time to say goodbye to QVC. He is a true designer, and it was obvious he respects the viewers.

I decided to look around FB and George hasn't posted anything in months. I did find a Fan Group page and they have been calling Q, sending letters asking for him to be brought back. But so far, no comment from George.

He posted on his FB page that QVC had NOT invited him back. Sounded like he was willing to continue the relationship but not the Q

Sorry to hear.  I found his designs appealing.  I would get compliments on his garments that I wore.  I don't like the slob offerings of Lori G and others that design like her.  George had a certain elegance and that's something I like.

MAJOR fuddy duddy clothing, just like Mackie's and Louis D's clothing.

I'm sorry he didn't respond at all as it seems like it was a help for Linea and his line survived after being on the chopping block.
