George Foreman Grill Presenter

First, let me start off by saying a have a Forman grill. This presenter did not do it justice. There was so much meat that was wasted because she was only concerned on getting the grill marks on it that the rest of it was raw. There is no way the crew ate that raw meat. All that meat was wasted. Even the burgers were not cooked and she put them on the buns. By the looks of it I do not believe she cooks or even uses the Forman grill. When she is on she cannot do two things at once. They need a new presenter.

Re: George Foreman Grill Presenter

I only watched about five minutes of her presentation....but I have seen her in the past....the food never looks cooked through..I always wonder if anyone eats that food without getting sick...

If they are throwing the food away ..its shameful...

Re: George Foreman Grill Presenter

I feel she did a great job. Those burgers were so thin & can cook fast. I was suprised to see all the food she got on the grill. The grill looked very small but it may be bigger when you get it. She had 5 grills going & I think most of it was cooking before the presentation. The only thing that I did feel wasn't cooked enough was the prime rib roast. Even David said it was rare. I would never put prime rib on a grill but that is me.

Re: George Foreman Grill Presenter

I watched her last night with David and felt sorry for her!  She was doing all the work while David stood there asking his producer how many were sold during his show!  Who cares how many were sold during his show!  Let me know if stock is low but if 3000 red were sold makes no difference to me.  She at one point had to ask him to hand her a platter for the chicken thighs because he was doing nothing!  I thought the presentation was about the food at one point because it was everywhere!  I was waiting to hear some of the features of the grill and never heard them!  I think I did finally hear the grill plate was not remove able so I did not make a purchase.  And frankly it looked a little wobbly when the side of beef was cooking.  So, less food, more features, a and stop telling me how many were sold.

junera,

You are correct about the grill being wobbly.  I purchased this several years ago and paid more for it with no cover or recipe book.  I don't use it that often because clean-up is a mess due to the grill plates being non-removable.  Also, I find it to be unsteady and always worry about it tipping over.  So far, it has never tipped over but it is wobbly. The grill section doesn't fit securely on the stand. I'm sorry I wasted my money on this poorly constructed item.  You were wise to pass on this grill.  docsgirl

I AGREE, David was busy trying to feed himself as usual. I felt bad for the presenter.  I like her, always have.  He did nothing to assist her, she was organized but afterall, she only has 2 hands.

David is obsessed with himself, EVERY SHOW HE STATES HOW MANY WAS SOLD IN HIS SHOW, WHO CARES, OTHER THAN HIM?  On another note, last night I noticed how much weight he has gained.  He better watch out, that is for sure, even with is tall frame, he looks overweight which means he is heavier than he should be

Re: George Foreman Grill Presenter

They waste a lot of food when they do kitchen shows.   I often wondered what they do with that food especially when they have an all day cooking show.

And, since this was just the TSV they only had a limited time to show it.  There is no way a steak would be cooked during the segment.  It's all just show.  I'm sure that food will be thrown away.

Re: George Foreman Grill Presenter

nobody cooks food all the way thru any more and oversalted food is everywhere. I was at a upscale steak house Mon. and just wanted a cheeseburger.

Thing was thick, raw in middle and black on the edges. I ate around the middle. Best part was the buttered bun. LOL

Popeyes chicken had a opening day coupon come on we got a bucket, so, salty you couldn't eat it without a qt of tea. don't know how people who have to follow a low salt or no salt diet do it out there in the restaurents.

One hamburger chain that specializes in flat burgers have a great product, but, I swear somebody must stand there and shake the shaker about 5 times over each burger. Not necessary.

@SharkE. I know what you mean about the hamburger. I like my steak medium, but my hamburger has to be well done. They usually ask how I want it cooked and I say very well done. If it arrives red in the middle, I send it back, but it usually comes the way I ask for it.

First off,  David does COOKING shows. Who wants a host that doesn't eat the food they are presenting?? And your comment about his weight is just rude and CLASSLESS. He is ADORABLE just the way he is. Put your picture on here so I can rip you apart. I watched him for the four hours he was on and he helped her the whole time. I do not know what show you were watching. And before you comment on a post, read the heading first. This WAS NOT about David. If you wanted it to be then start your own post but get off mine.
