Good grief, you have no idea what they do with the food.  This is a SHOPPING channel, not a food bank or shelter.

@applr   Ever wonder how much of the prepared foods you see at supermarkets and restaurants isn't used?   And there are thousands of those! 

You really think QVC airing to thusands of homes wastes anything even close to your local food sellers -  or even the pounds of food wasted when you add up the waste in many homes???  I believe quite strongly that you're complaining to the wrong business.

Many comments have been made on numerous occasions (David even said it again tonight) that it is offered to the employees. JT came in and got a plate before her Q2 show. David says many times about the number of employees "waiting in the wings" just off camera for the presentations to end so they can eat.

The food that sits out all day gets composted. Steve mentioned it. The stuff that's fresh The crew can snack on.
