Re: Fingernails and jewelry shows

I remember when Lisa used to have close ups and she had brown around her nails from faux tan and sometimes you could see the real nail growing underneath . For someone that was supposed to be the fashion/beauty authority of QVC, it looked pretty bad and many people used to comment about it.

I have not seen bad nails on the hosts either!

Re: Fingernails and jewelry shows

My coworker had natural fingernails that were super long, at least an inch of nail past the end of her fingers. It actually looked creepy. As for QVC, I am not a fan of the claw-like nails, but the one thing I really find unappealing in the jewelry presentations is dry cuticles. Fingernail color and shape won't keep me from watching, but close, big-screen shots of dry, ragged cuticles bug me.
