Why all of the ankle and cropped pants. We need more high quality full-length pants..i.e. similar to those manufactured by the wonderful Louis Dell'Olio. I still have many of his pants and they are going strong and still look great. I personally think most women look better in full-length...and the choices of full-length are few now on QVC. Most full-length are athleisure wear or the very baggy liquid knits by Susan Graver. Just a recommendation.

@danette I'm with you on this! I'm so sick of chopped off looking jeans and pants. And I never was a fan or wore any cropped pants. On my 5'1.5" figure, they just make me look shorter and frumpy. I like a full length pant, or a slim leg jean/pant to the ankle...but mid to bottom of the ankle not 2" above it! It's like a "nowhere" "what's it mean to be" length to me...does nothing at all for any woman's figure in my opinion, and I can't for the life of me figure out it's current popularity. "To show off your shoes" can't be the reason, though it's the reason marketing/sales often gives...because full length skinny, slim and straight pants, still show your shoes.
For boot cut I like them long, over the boots.
The dumbest, dumpiest look imo is the full or flare crops...oy, how unflattering can you get? "Scare crow pants" I call them...especially the unfinished hem ones. 😝 Put me on a stick, and plant me in the tomato patch!

I happen to like ankle pants---most are a "regular" length pant on me! I'm 5'5", but have VERY short legs, even petites are too long.
I also like crop pants in the warmer weather. I don't wear shorts, so in a gathering where most do wear shorts, I don't feel as conspicuous in crop pants. I'm with you on the wide crops, though, they don't look good on me.
As to "quality" pants, such as the Linea line, I think those days may be gone on QVC...everything has just gotten soooooo expensive that the "average" Q viewer just doesn't want to pay the price that sort of quality would demand.

Another vote for ankle or cropped pants. I prefer them.

I don't like cropped any pants. They don't do a thing for me as 5'2". It's ridiculous when the host sells it by saying if you don't wear shorts, cropped is good. Come on....
They look just like pants that you bought too short. High waters. Long or at the knee for the summer.

Cropped pants was considered "floods" way back when I was in high school in the 1970s. Pants were so long then they dragged on the floor.
Today I really like ankle & cropped pants and I'm only 5'1" but enjoy wearing them. I hope they contiue to make "floods". I'm also someone who won't wear shorts or dresses so I enjoy shorter pants.
I agree that some silhouettes are more flattering than others since everyone has a different figure. There should be choices for everyone.

Bring on the ankle pants and crops! No reason for me to pay a tailor if I want a long pant, but most days I don't. Afternoon temperatures here right now are already 85+ and crops are perfect for my casual life. Comfort is more important to me than making some onlooker like my clothes.
Keep the shaggy edges, the floppy widths, as well as wide bands of decoration along the hem. No need for my hems to be cutesy.

I love the cropped length!

A few months ago Marla showed drawings on FB of four styles of pants asking for input for future designs. The cropped and ankle pants were the winners.

Cropped pants make a lot of women look dumpy.
