Maybe they should just start their own Christmas Channel. Then they could sell their dollar store junk all year.

@MarthaStewardess. That's a great idea. Get rid of the Beauty channel they have which is a total waste and make it a Christmas channel. Everyone will be happy!

So here it is August and they are still in CIJ? What is going on with such horrible programming?

I so agree!! I haven't watched 24/7, but almost every time I clicked on the Q channel, they were presenting some item that I had already seen presented - several times!! And then there is Q2, showing the same products...again!!
They need more vendors and more items or cut back the amount of CIJ days, so that the same products aren't shown so many times.

I had to turn the Q on to see what the fuss is about. ITKWD is on the Q and Susan Graver is on Q2. Happy shopping!

Yeah, well...you all will see these shows until the Q stops making money off of them. Until then, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I'm confused about those who claim they have bought gifts during this horrible programming. What kind of gifts did you buy? Isn't it just a lot of decor items and pre packaged food?
I haven't watched, but from past experience, I only remember seeing fake trees, garlands, wreaths, Valerie-made-in-China junk, and food. Have they actually come up with gifts?
Editing: I take that back! I forgot about the cars on the glow in the dark, wiggly track.

This is really a total misrepresentation of the actual amount of Christmas shows.
There is the CIJ festivities, the biggest events during the year (for Christmas decor) and a day or two in August and September devoted to such, but by late September or early October it all switches to 'gift' shows, and are really just the same ole same ole you are all clamoring to get back to. The same products, just packaged in bigger quantities and in 'holiday' packaging.
QVC has an entire channel for beauty (Beauty IQ), so no one needs to complain EVER about the lack of that kind of programming, and QVC goes days on end with nothing but fashion and accessories almost every week throughout the year. I often tune into Q2 and find them airing fashion at the same time as Q.
For heaven's sake, if a few day event with a focus on some type of merchandise you don't care for is enough to break you, you need to find something besides tv shopping channels to build your life around.

@IMW wrote:Can’t understand why put the same programming on two channels. QVC and Qvc2 are both showing Christmas in July on August 1.
Wasn't the point of more channels more diversity?
What a bore and turn off, as in turn off the tv.
They do this often with other kinds of programming too. And I don't understand the thought process (or lack of one!) behind it either.
I could hurl when I have to see Susan Graver on two channels at the same time (and it happens often), but I don't start thread about it, I change the channel.

THis is the same thing they do every year at CIJ (although there was tons of new this year), as well as all their other programming. Very repetitious. Same vendors over and over, and same products over and over. It happens in all categories, fashion, home decor, kitchen items, foods, beauty etc.
They need more vendors and more new items across the board, in all their programming. Their website is full of millions of things that never hit the air. They might try putting some of them on once in awhile for some variety. I think they might be pleasantly surprised to see what that might do for viewership and sales.
