I LOVE IT !!! I buy for 23 people each year. I am pretty much done. I go to the mall twice a year. Once to take the grandkids school clothes shopping and the other for last minute Christmas shopping. CIJ saves me time and gas money . I am not a make-up person or jewelry or really a clothes person. I just change the channel when all that stuff gets too much. So to everyone, MERRY CHRISYMAS IN JULY !!!!!

There were some shows yesterday that enabled me to buy a few Christmas gifts. I have no problem with the early Christmas shows, though I wish they were more geared towards gifts, rather then so much decorating stuff.

I'm with OP. I could do without Christmas in July, August, September, October and even November. I don't even watch Q's Christmas shows in December anymore. It's all the same stuff, or variation of, I have watched for over the last 20 years.

I dont like the commercial side of Christmas and havent for years. So I dont like the CIJ that goes on for days and on both their channels. I do believe they should have Christmas shows for those that like it. But.....a steady dose?! No! I like kitchen shows, shoe shows and some fashion shows, but I dont want any of them to be the only thing on day after day both channels.

To each their own. That being said I don’t like CIJ.I don’t like anything Christmas until Thanksgiving.
I love Summer.I won’t sacrifice a day of it thinking about Christmas shopping. I like the fall because the weather is still nice. The last thing I want to think about is Winter, snow & Chistmas.
However, when it’s time comes Christmas is wonderful!! I just don’t want to rush through my life to get to it.

I like CIJ, but they have overdone it this year. A lot of it is repetitious, too. They spend way too much time on some of the items, except for Valerie's shows, which move along well.

CIJ seems to go on forever. I know that retailers make lots f money then, so it will continue.
What I am confused about is what people buy to give as gifts during CIJ?
Do you buy food, or decor...those blanket thingys? I have never seen anything that I'd want to give or receive as a gift.

Can’t understand why put the same programming on two channels. QVC and Qvc2 are both showing Christmas in July on August 1.
Wasn't the point of more channels more diversity?
What a bore and turn off, as in turn off the tv.
