I would like to see that if a customer wants to use easy pay but doesn't want to have 5 or 6 payments that the option is given to choose the amount/length. Like 3 easy pays. Like HSN does. You are the same company so it should be able to be done. Thank you

Re: Easy pay. Please change.

@coffeegal.  They may be the same company but they don't have the same computer system.  QVC's seems to be much more antiquated, limiting the options for many possibilities.

Don't understand why people don't understand - - take the 5 payments that are offered - make 2 payments - or 3...........and pay the balance off.  There...........you got the 3 you wanted in the first place.

Problem:  Solved

@coffeegal - I agree with you. I never need more than three Easy Pays, and the fact that I was promised that three Easy Pays would always be available was one of the only reasons I signed up for a Q Card. Unfortunately, as @Kachina624 noted, the Q system is not sophisticated enough to offer the three Easy Pays if there are other Easy Pay options in play, so it can be frustrating to order at times.

And yes, I realize that I can pay off an item at any time, but having the ability to simply select the payment option I want from the beginning would be ideal.

Re: Easy pay. Please change.

Hey ~ Just a heads-up on the easy pay system here at the Q.

If an item is expensive, and I have never tried it before (Cosmetics, Skincare) I generally use the 5 & 6 Easy Pays.

When I find that I will be keeping said item, I go and pay off the Easy Pays.

In my case, the Q charges "each" easy pay that I am paying off "seperately."  So, if you pay off 3 easy pays on 3 different products at once?  That shows my Bank that you have 15 charges at one time, all within 10 minutes!

My Bank is in a smaller town, and they watch card transactions closely.  I love this because there a so many thiefs out there, but will never do more than one pay-off at a time again, as that "trips the trigger" and I have to call the bank to tell them it was just me. Smiley Frustrated

I agree with OP and would like to see that offered too.  I also know I can pay off 5 or 6 easy pays early but it would be nice to pick just 2 or 3 easy pays when I purchase if I wanted to.

Re: Easy pay. Please change.

I really wish we had a choice, too.

I'm no marketing expert, but I think they think they'll sell more because offering 5-6 payments means getting to feature a "lower price" on the screen. They obviously want the viewer to buy multiple items of clothing, pieces of IT Cosmetics products, etc. and make it seem like it's totally possible/no big deal if you use EP.

@todaysrx

You are so right.  That low monthly payment makes it look easy to buy a lot of things at once.  Its not so easy when the easy pays pile up on the credit card!  It makes me sad that so many people fall for this trap and get themselves in financial trouble.  I, personally, only use easy pay for big ticket items.

Re: Easy pay. Please change.

My pet peeve is only offering 5 or 6 easy pays (or 1) on an expensive item - skin care, for example, that can be autoshipped in 90 days.  Why would you want to do double easy pays on the item for 2 of the 5 months or 3 of the 6 months?  I recently declined to buy the latest $99.00 Perricone TSV because I couldn't get it on 3 easy pays.

Re: Easy pay. Please change.

@Stevie Nix if you really wanted that Perricone TSV you could have doubled up on your easy pays and it would be paid off in 3 months.
