Does anyone know whether or not the people (management) from QVC actually read what we post on our threads? It would be great if they did as many of the ideas stated on these threads would be beneficial in helping them program and get rid of stupid phrases and some of the hosts....

Don't know, but many of the hosts say they do.

The people who post here represent a tiny portion of QVC shoppers. While there may be some skimming by management, anything posted here is taken with a grain of salt.
Ultimately, it is sales that matter to QVC, and if a host is moving thousands of items during a show, but five or six people posting here post negative comments about the host, which one will QVC ignore? There are always negative posts about some of the hosts, and when hosts are "freed up to pursue opportunities outside of QVC," we get many people posting how that was their "favorite host," and now the poster will no longer shop with QVC.
So, no, comments here will not change things. It just gives people an opportunity to voice an opinion that will likely be ignored by QVC.

I certainly wouldn't count on it
.... there's a suggestion box here, but if you have something you wish to communicate to QVC, send it via Customer Service.

Yes, I think they do but I think they pick and choose the feedback they take to heart.
A number of posters have indicated they've received communications from 'corporate' as a result of posting here. Usually, this seems to relate back to individual issues that need resolution, but if they're having someone read them then they're likely seeing the range of feedback. Of course, what they opt to do about it, if anything, is completely up to them. Likewise, what we opt to do with regard to shopping and watching is completely up to us...

If they do, I would imagine they are all sitting back having a great big laugh.

Exactly!!
Some think that just because they and a few others have suggestions QVC should act on them but the bottom line is sales. QVC could not possibly satisfy everyone's personal wants and needs for their entertainment. Many of those with complaints also say and have said over and over that they rarely if ever buy here anyway.

And as long as the product mix is so lame and the pricing and shipping non-competitive, I'd guess that itsy bitsy sampling of those posting here will continue to seek changes and for the most part to shop elsewhere... I wonder if that's part of their business plan too...

you continue to talk about the sampling and I'll say it again....and again....sales are flat! price increases and shipping allowed them to make a small profit....And I've heard several hosts/vendors say "you've been asking for new"...so someone/somewhere heard what many of us want to see some new things(variety)..of course then you get into a discussion on what QVC's and the customer's view "new" as....
