A thread was posted about hiring models or having models with tattoos and it made me think how it would be nice to see a model who was disabled. I think there are a lot of disabled customers who would identify with a model or vendor with some limitations but not necessarily holding them back. It might be difficult for someone with a wheelchair or a cane to quickly change but they certainly could be used with certain products or clothing. It's just a thought.

Maybe they could be a blogger or answer live questions about products. I would love to see the Q do this.

I think it would be difficult for QVC to pull that off without making it look like they were putting a disabled person's issues "on display."  Not a great idea IMO.

Really? Displayed? I just don't understand that thinking at all. I guess I see it more like not holding someone back.

I think it would be difficult for a disabled person to get around their sets but a nice idea if it could be done.I think people would react positively if Q could find a way to make it happen.

Yes, it could require some modifications but isn't that what the ADA was passed for? I just had a random thought that I decided to post as a suggestion.

I doubt they would do that as we are lucky if we get a short model.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

I think the idea of having a person  as a model  in a wheel chair would be of great help to those who are disabled and in wheel chairs to see how the clothes fit.. and  how comfortable they would be.  It would be a win win for everyone.  Plus it would give the disabled a job and open doors perhaps with other companies.
