Hmmmm.....Perhaps Pippa and I have decidedly different tastes for wedding choices.  The ring appears ostentatious to me and the dress matronly (just because a dress does not have a high neckline or short sleeves, it does not designate the wearer a "street walker").  I'm sure we are both worthy human beings, just a difference in taste for these two landmark choices.  She is confident and happy with her choices as I would be with mine. Interestingly, other pictures I've seen of her (not many), I've always shared her choice in fashion.  Perhaps she senses the gravity of now being connected to "the family" and resulted in the overly traditional dress and acceptable blingy ring as an unconscious decision.  Just a thought.  For me, it is a no vote on the DMQ....a maybe if it was half the size and closer to the Tiffany Soleste/Embrace.

Not a fan of Pipas ring, but I wish they would make Bella Swans engagement ring from the Twilight Saga. I think one of the other shopping channels made it way back when, but I wasn't lucky enough to get it and they didn't bring it back.

That ring reminds me of the Diamonique ring Amy wears as an engagement ring.
