Dear Webbie:
When you poof our posts or threads, oftentimes we have no idea why we were poofed, and sometimes we don't even realize that we got poofed. Would it please be possible for it to be set up so that when you poof a thread or post, you also select one of a set of pre-written reasons why we were poofed, and have that automatically sent to the email address we have on file associated with our nic?
I know we all should be aware of QVC's rules for posting here, but I doubt many of us have those reasons committed to memory, and I think also that oftentimes we may be violating those rules unintentionally because we don't immediately see how our posts are related to specific rules. Having an automated message sent would really help to educate us about the relevant rules, and I believe it would also help to reduce the violations to those rules.
Thank you for reading.
Sincerely,
FinnyMinny

The thread I started this morning in the Beauty section was poofed almost instantly. I started the thread to let people know that they might want to check the dates on the last post before they respond to a thread because so many have recently been bumped up by that "foot" troll. Of course if they want to respond to a 3-month-old thread, that's totally fine, but I'm just seeing lots of people taking the time to write really thoughtful, helpful replies to questions that had been resolved months ago, and I feel badly that people are perhaps unknowingly wasting their time, especially when recent questions have gone without reply because they've gotten buried before people have had a chance to help out. So many posters here are really helpful and generous with their time and knowledge, and I thought it would be helpful of me to just point out the issue we've had with the troll bumping up old threads so that their generosity wouldn't be wasted. Anyway, I can't see anything wrong with what I posted, but it was poofed immediately.
