i want to know what the price was, compared to now. and when was the item originally presented.

Don't think they want us to be able to track a price, S&H or date of introduction.  It would take their fun away and allow us to make an informed decision.  Can't have that!

That would not be something any retailer would do.  If you're shopping at Macy's you wouldn't know that info either.  You might know the original price from the price tag, but not necessarily, given special buys and other promotional deals.

@Tori3569 is right. NO retailer would do this for a myriad of reasons.

@hkrgrl - When you shop other retail places - online or in the store - do you know the dates the product was first introduced?   No retailer provides this information.

If I like an item, I will consider purchasing it.  I'm not worried about the year it first appeared to the public.

Some of the videos do have that information from the host.

or you can discern from the set - Christmas, Fall

on an Aimee K. video, Shawn saws '2023' collection. (which they are still selling - fine by me)

sometimes they say " $40 off original price"

so it is on some of them.

just put it on the screen, not so much the host has to say it.  like when they put "previously aired, price may have changed" on the screen.  especially on QVC 3......be upfront.  if u like it, you like it.

and yes, some stores, especially clothing, will say  'past season' and if look close on some, there is a tag on the clothing with the manufacturing date.

in my opinon, it can be done.

I think it's a good idea.  Sometimes I do wonder how old a video presentation is and have thought the same, when was this aired?  Just out of curiosity.

This will never happen; there may be dozens of presentations of an item and there's no way QVC is going to invest the time, money, and effort to have someone add special notes or captions to every single item every time a new video is posted.

I agree that it will never, ever happen for a variety of reasons.

Particularly with apparel.  If they have dated, excess inventory they want to move, I'm sure they don't want to reveal how long it's been on the shelf.
