I wanted to order three different items today. All three had poor customer ratings. All around 2.5.  Please stop selling items that are so poorly rated.  Don't waste our time watching a presentation of an item that is poor quality.

But if every QVC item had a high rating, wouldn't you be skeptical?  I would.

I appreciate the reviews. I want the good, bad and ugly when I read the reviews. I want to kniow why somebody did not like the product and why somebody loved it. Reviews have stopped me many times from purchasing an item because they were so bad.

It is disappointing to want to purchase a product that turns out to be bad.  I guess I should look at the bright side and I am saving money.

I often see poor reviews on products I find perfectly acceptable.  I also see glowing reviews along side those that are horrible.  Who to believe?  Check out all aspects  of the product then draw your own conclusions.

How many people shop on QVC?  How many people purchase?  What percent of the reviews reflect the total purchases?  That is called data-driven analysis.  The truth is we have no idea!

For the first decade I shopped at QVC, I never wrote a review.  I did not write on these forums until the second decade, when my work life was less crazy.

Given some of the comments on the forums, I would not expect that person's taste to necessarily be the same as mine.

Reviews rarely influence my purchases.  I have shopped here long enough that I have an idea of the quality of the vendor BEFORE I purchase.

@PA Girl 58  IMO people are quicker to complain about an item and not so quick to recommend it.  I always read the reviews before purchasing but if the item gets low ratings because the purchaser didn't like the color or some other stupid thing, I ignore it.  Reviews can be useful but as always buyer beware.

I always start with the lowest reviews and read those first. It's disheartening that some are about slow shipping, host, size not available, but not about the product. Only recently can you see if the reviewer even made a purchase.

Reviews here are like anywhere. Read them, noticed the date and time of year they're published, and try to think about what else may have been going on in the world at that time.

I read the reviews & make my decision as to whether or not I want to order the item ... if an item has too many bad reviews I don’t order it & look for something else ☺️
