The Belk sweatshirt is available in petites, which will be a shorter length. The Halston sweatshirt is not as "cropped" on me as a petite.
HTH
I have no idea what HTH means, so that was lost on me.
@Pearlee HTH means "hope that helps"

@Karnerblue wrote:@lolakimono, so if you get it straightened out to your liking, will you put those orders through that you cancelled? I'm just curious is all.
No- I ordered something else from Belk. There are plenty of places who are still in the customer service business, with "old fashioned" business practices like sales, clearance, free shipping, and coupon codes.
Now I will probably get "the letter" for canceling those orders. Sigh.
@lolakimono I'm sure I wouldn't worry about getting the letter. They are sending emails with monthly statement and I'm so proud of myself, five ordered and four shipped. So, I had a cancellation. If I get 'the letter' I'll just move on, no problem. lol

You do realize that Premium shipping is at least 3 if not more times the 3 dollar normal shipping charge, if the nonsense with packaging and shipping continues I will be shopping else where

It was ordered on 1/28, shipped on 2/2 and finally arrived on 2/8. I really hate that I can no longer select my shipping method
@I am still oxox - You can still select your shipping method. You just have to pay the higher cost for it, instead of the flat rate of $3 or $5 (or occasional free shipping).
If I wanted to be absolutely sure of UPS Ground, I'd select that from the shipping options and pay the extra amount.

@vickie25 wrote:I'm surprised that the CS rep denied your adjustment. QVC advertises that you have 30 days to "love it or return it", so the 30 day clock for any price adjustment really begins when you receive the item. So add 5-7 days to the Jan 12th ship date and you were well within the timeframe as you could have returned the sweatshirt for a refund.
@vickie25 Nope. The 30-day clock for the purposes of a price adjustment always begins on the order date. I've run into this before with CS.
@lolakimono The Belk sweatshirt doesn't look cropped to me, like the Halston.
That doesn't make sense to me since you have 30 days, I believe, from when you receive the item, to return it. If QVC also uses the order date to hold you to when you need to mail back an item that would mean you really wouldn't have 30 days "to love it or return it". Thank you for clarifying that. To me the 2 policies (price adj and returns) should be in sync.

UPS Ground is not "at least 3 if not more times" the normal "standard delivery" charge. It's generally $6.95, which is what the old S&H used to be before they introduced the changes in March of last year.
You can't compare "premium" shipping rates to the standard delivery charge. The premium (your word; I'd call it "express") rate is for a much faster delivery. If you want that, you have to pay for it.
Not sure where you're getting your information about the current rates from!
Besides, from your story, you got the item you ordered within the specified number of "business days", as someone else has pointed out to you. And, yes, a package can sit at the local post office for more than a day before it's delivered and that's not the fault of QVC. They have a minimum of 24 hours before they have to deliver it, once they've received it at the local post office. (I know; I've asked the Post Office directly.)
Sounds like you'd do better though to shop elsewhere, as you said, if speed is a major factor in your purchases.

I did send an e-mail to QVC Social as @Beth-QVC advised. I am happy to report that they will adjust the price, as @Brittany-QVC reported to me in the e-mail.
Thanks for your help and maybe those on the thread can get their complaints addressed as well.![]()

@lolakimono I don't have any complaints at the moment - my incidents happened a while ago, before the new $3.00 S&H policy. However, I think QVC needs to re-look at it's "30 days from the order date" price adjustment policy in light of the fact that shipping the item takes much longer now with the new S&H policy - because IMO of passing it off to another carrier before we receive it (i.e. starting with UPS that passees it off to the PO for delivery) - their "shipping partners." It's taking a lot longer to receive items I used to receive in three or four days so that mandates an adjustment on QVC's end, like you had in your situation @lolakimono. Q does need to change its price adjustment policy to 30 days from date of receipt rather than order date.

Happy to help @lolakimono! I did forward your feedback along as an example of where we might generally do better. Our Reps should feel empowered to do a price adjustment for a good customer!

I am sorry that you had to go thru all of this... as you know, I have ordered many of these sweatshirts and my bill at QVC needs to be amended after all is said and done.
I am going to ask for credit for the sweatshirts in the purple color as I considered them to be defective, especially for the price.
I am due a credit adjustment for the fact that the item went on sale w/in 30 days after I purchased.
Thanks for sharing...
