I agree with the OP - they have referenced it - explained how they will stand by us  (what does that mean?).................now move on to what you (QVC) normally do.

I don't need 15 minute reminders.

I haven't noticed 15-minute reminders, but then I don't watch QVC 24/7.  I've only noticed it being referenced maybe once during the shows I have watched?

Hospital ships brought in, hospitals begging for supplies, old prisons turned into hospitals, people unable to visit relatives, stores and restaurants shuttered, people homebound, groceries scarce, uh, sounds pretty serious to me.

Re: Coronavirus

[ Edited ]

It is serious and other than those living in caves, we all know it. Aside from what they're required to broadcast, my thinking is we don't need to hear still more about it on a shopping channel. Anyone wanting more can go to a primary source. All that said, QVC is not alone. Yes indeed, sales entities all over are using the crisis, some overtly and some subtly, to market their wares. Given the far reaching nature of this fiasco, I'll cut them a little slack in that area, but not much before I do, indeed, turn the TV off altogether and delete emails without reading as soon as I see how 'they really want to be there for me'. 'Be there for me', yea, uh huh, right, whatever...

QVC, please stop the corona virus commercial. Furthermore, the hosts are becoming so dramatic about this virus that it is depressing.  QVC used to be a happy place. Nowadays, it's not. You seem to be taking advantage of this virus to sell all of the clothes and accessories.  Very disappointed.

yes, there are people living in caves, right here in the usa . . . the cave of denial.

sadly, this is the norm (denial) for many things. some people don't 'get it' until they get clubbed over the head.

this isn't doom and gloom.

people have to adjust and change a little . . . ironically, to save their own life.

there are life lessons to be learned from this. like understanding how people that couldn't go out 3 months ago for any number of reasons, cope on a daily basis when house bound or an in a nursing home.

i was taught that when you have good health, you are rich and that it should be cherished.

QVC--code for damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Balance required...unclear if those watching QVC need many reminders of the current situation but a few would be fine.  Most news programs have only virus information.  Locally we have eliminated regular programs like GH to bring us the latest infected count and death count...so depressing as we remain confined.  IMO the news needs to stop daily briefings that last for hours.  Most information can be told during brief briefings.

You have a choice - its called a remote - you should use it to either off the tv or change the channel. Maybe you are watching too much tv - find something else to do.

In case you haven't heard, it is a serious situation especially in the NY area where my daughter and her 3 kids live.

Maybe because it is not a happy world anymore. If you want to keep wearing your clothing you need to know how to stay healthy!
