Sometimes I'm an XL, sometimes a L. When buying pants, I can wear either 14 or 16, depending on the style, material. Recently, when watching Susan Graver, I was about to buy one of her tops.  She mentioned that she wears a size 4 or xxs.  I couldn't possibly purchase anything  based on her sizing recommendation.  My DIL is 5', at best, and weighs 105 pounds and wears a 4 and is XS?  Is the television really that deceiving when it comes to size?  By the way, I think Susan is a very pretty lady with a great figure, but an xxs,  REALLY?

Soemtimes I'm an XL, sometimes I'm a L, and sometimes I buy 14W -- and I don't buy my clothes at QVC for the most part.  Those 3 sizes are my Nordstrom experience for the past 2 years.

I do think Susan sometimes could be an XXS or an XS very often.  Every time someone goes on a QVC tour, it seems they comment on how surprisingly small the various hosts are --and I do think Susan's clothes often run larger than what I buy locally.  I think the largest SG in my house is a Large -  and that fit when I was wearting 1X from elsewhere.

I'm a local clothing shopper because so much sizing is piece specific, and I dread the day I can no longer easily walk in and out of stores.

I understand what you are saying.  Sizing is all over the place on the Q - that's why I don't buy clothes or shoes there anymore.  I would rather go to a store and be able to try it on instead of paying $6.95 to return everything because it doesn't fit.

@hoosieroriginalI think more and more of us feel this way -  and that's got to be one of the reason we're seeing more and more electronics and an grooming tools and home items instead of so much clothing and jewelry.

What's fun to watch just isn't so much fun to buy.  Fortunately for me, I haven't had to change my buying habits so much because my feet and my body have been hard to fit since I was about 10 years old!  I really need to deal with good shoe fitters and sales associates who know their products much more than any online offers.  Even them, as I said in another post, sizes are all over the place!

@millieshopsI also have noticed the quality of the material isn't what it used to be.  I am very tactile and like to feel the material.  Like yesterday's TSV on HSN - you could see right through it - it was tissue paper!  Who wants to wear something like that?

Re: Confused by Sizing?? THEN TRY THE GARMENT MEASUREMENT CHART!

. Dont buy the size you would for dept stores. That was the mistake I made and paid for it in return fees.

I buy sg. Because i use the garment measurement, very rarely do I need to return items. Usually I am M in her clothing line, but once in awhile, there may be an oversized piece, and based on my bust and the "circumfrence 1" below the underarm" on the chart, I find that I need to size down.

Join the crowd!  The click here measurements are a help, but no guarantee.  And it's not just QVC.  I ordered a Free People top from Nordstrom...Free People!...talk about screwy sizing.  I'm usually a medium in FP...and had to exchange for a small.  I am not a small LOL!

I'm an xl in every single Zella top I've ever tried on in the store, so I ordered a few tops from the site in xl.  Way too big!  How does that happen!!!

I have everything from a small to an xl in my closet...I really have no idea what size I am LOL!!

Me, too!  Wish QVC would show body measurements for each size for each garment:  the reason being is that the bust/waist/hip measurements vary whether the garment is fitted, semi-fitted, roomy;  and, body measurements are more accurate, e.g., garment measurements are going to vary per thickness of material:  outerwear, for example, could be 1" thick on one item, 2" thick on another, etc.  IMHO it's no wonder so many of us have great difficulty with sizing.  QVC should wake up and smell the coffee..give the body measure re fit/sizing - will be much better for business/returns.

I'm not confused about my sizing, I know exactly what I am down to the comfortable Garment Chest measurement!  What has confounded me has been ordering a garment, looking at the specific garment sizing, figuring out what size goes with my garment chest sizing, ordering it... receiving it and finding out it's no where near the sizing on the chart...(I've tried it on AND measured it and yes, I know how to measure garments having sewn since I was in Jr. High).    I resent having to send it back on my dime because QVC's sizing chart was not accurate.

I have solved my problem tho...  unless the garment is absolutely something I can't live without .... I don't order.... Woman Sad

If you want a problem in sizing watch out for Isaac's sweaters he doesn't give bust sizes he's got some kind of weird sewing sizing where you take the measurement he gives and times it by 2. I paid 115 for one of his hoody sweaters soho style and had to call Q to find out what '21' in bust size was that they listed for a 'large'.

Sent it back thing was horrible !
