Change the way putting stuff in cart works

I wish that when you put an item in your cart it does not change the page you're on to be the cart page, but rather, have a pop up window showing it's in my cart with the options to either continue shopping or checkout. So many other websites do it that way and I find it much more user friendly.

Yes dear I know! I like it the other way without needing to do so, I think I have a thing about the back button. Some websites, the back buttton doesn’t work right so I got out of the habit of needing it so much (always using open in new tab function). I was told by an IT person that websites that need you to use the back button so much are outdated and it’s becoming a thing of the past.
