And "order your normal QVC size" is not helpful information if you don't often buy their clothing.

Shawn never mentions sizing or asks what the models size are, so we can gage for us! She only talks abt what she ordered.. I watched a Jane Brown fashion hour and she too

never mentioned sizing or asked what the models size was. I found her show to be boring and uninformed, and I have always liked Jane Brown just not on a fashion program. So many just talk abt themselves and what they ordered.. I remember years ago the hosts could only order after the show, the items presenting were for the customers only..... guess that definitely changed.

The personal ordering stopped for awhile and now it's back full-force. Is it just a sales tactic or are they just being concerned about themselves? What if you went to the appliance store, found a refrigerator you wanted and the salesperson said I took the last one? What's really off-putting is that one host totally disappears or orders a Q aide to go get her phone so she can order an item.

@greenjean1 If the hosts ordering while selling is a sales tactic, it doesn't work on me. Some of them, like Mary D, have said that they wait for the end of the show to order. But I refuse to watch Shawn Killinger shop, which is basically what her shows have become. For one thing, she doesn't have my good taste!

Embarrasing. Shawn is a graduate of Penn State. So is one of my children. My son also agrees that Shawn's statements are cringe-worthy. Such a lack of basic knowledge. Evidently she is there to pose her "fantasy scenes." She certainly does not give valid, intelligent, helpful information about the products on-air that she is presenting. It's all about Shawn.
