Camera shots

This may be news to the camera persons but when I want to see how earrings, rings, bracelets, any piece of jewelry looks on a person (as opposed to a display on a table) it simply does not work giving me a full body shot from 10 feet away!!! They spend so much time shooting from a distance and sloooooowly moving in that by the time they get to a wrist, hand or head shot, the shot goes back to the host and/or display! I want to see how large or small the earrings are on an ear lobe, how large or small the ring looks on a finger. Where on the neckline the necklace falls. Will they be noticeable or do they get lost.

More time showing close-ups of jewelry on models please.
