Does everyone see what's going on here?

Pretty soon it will be just as the old forums were.......because that's what everyone wants.

So WHY did they put us through all this hassle?

ROTFLMBO !!

Hi, @SaRina

The bad news is they failed to beta test the platform with actual users so they could work out the problems before launch.

The good news is they're making what appear to be positive changes.

Justina here (because that dang gray line is down in my Quote area and I don't feel like backing up to re-do my quote, lolol):

And my point is....those "positive changes" you are referring to are bringing us right back to square one....oh, about 10 days ago B.N.F. (Before New Forums).  As Q contintues to acknowledge posters' pleas to bring back this or that it will look more and more the way we left it.  The irony.

Re: Brand Subcategories Have a New Home!

It appears to me that when you click on the "My Favorite Brand" folder, what you find is a hodgepodge of posts that mention random QVC brand names and related topics -- not a concise listing of subtopics under which we can start new threads by category.  This is nothing like the old forums, where subcategories were listed at the left of the screen under the major topic headings!  Not nearly as clean, clear, or efficient!

Re: Brand Subcategories Have a New Home!

Thank you for listening to our requests to bring back the sub forums!!!

I really enjoy sharing Wen (hair care) information with folks who are new to Wen and spending some relaxing time chatting with other Wenners, but the new forum system really threw a monkey wrench in all of that. -- It was all so confusing that I had decided to pull back on my posting. Not only had it become really confusing, but it was no longer any fun.

Now that you have created a Wen sub forum, I'm back to posting again!!!

Thanks again!!

P.S. As other have already mentioned, we'd really like our archival Wen post (I think around 9,000) to be migrated to our new forum... though I'm guessing that may take a while. -- I'd really appreciate it if you could keep us all in the loop and give us all some sense of the timetable for the migration. Thanks againSmiley Happy

This is a great start! Is it possible to get our old posts migrated to these new forums? Specifically, move old posts with the label "WEN" from the "Forums: Beauty" forum to the "My Favorite Brand: WEN" forum?

Re: Brand Subcategories Have a New Home!

Thank you, for bringing back the WEN sub-forum. I love Chaz Dean, WEN, Team Wen, and the fact that WEN does no animal testing. That is very important to my purchasing decisions, as are suggestions for WEN products from WEN users who have my same hair type.

I don't know if the sub-forums were in your original plans, or not, but I would like to send you a HUGE thank y'all for making them available.

I promise NOT to whine to you again even if the IGNORE feature never returns. : O )

Re: Brand Subcategories Have a New Home!

How about a BOOKS category like we had on the old forum?

Goodstuff, when I click on the My Favorite Brand folder, I do get a concise listing of subtopics any of which I can click on and start a new thread.  I suspect that there is something in your (many, Godawful) Preferences settings that is making you see the hodgepodge of posts instead.  Unfortunately, I'm not clever enough to tell you what to change.  Maybe if you post your problem as a new topic someone will jump in and tell you what to change.  I'd be really upset if I couldn't see & use those subforums!  HTH

OK.....I'll bite.  Anybody have any idea why I'm getting the hodgepodge listing of posts in the "My Favorite Brand" folder?  And what I can do about it?

I really hate these ridiculous changes.

Thank you QVC Team for bringing the sub-forums back and congratulations to everyone that got their sub-forums restored. Smiley Happy
