Bethleham Lights Window Candles

I know that Bethleham Lights is known for their battery operated lights, but I wish they could make an option for an electric version of the candle window light.  I want to use  wifi plugs to have all my Christmas lights come on at the same time.  I have 14 windows to put lights in.  No way would I be able set the all auto-on timers to light up at the same time. Plus, I don't want to use all those batteries. That would mean 28 "C" batteries every year.

I do use their battery operated wreath on my front door and I love it.  It is really hard to find electric led window candles.  I'm sure there are others who would prefer electric.  I'm sure the battery ones are great, but not practical for me.

I know they made them years ago because I still have a couple dozen of them, don't know if they'll bring them back though maybe you could find them on e-bay.  I switched to the battery ones because I didn't like having the wires and extention cords all over the place.  I buy the batteries at the dollar store and I set them all out on my kitchen island and then set the timer on them one after another, sometimes I have my husband help me and then I put them in the windows that way they all turn on one right after another.  Hope this helps I know it works out fine for me.

I know you said you don't want to buy the batteries but what I do with them to get them all turned on at the same time is to put the batteries in and put them all on sensor and 8 hours.

I do this in my basement with the light on and the shades drawn. Then when all are set up I turn the lights off and BAM...they all come on at the same time so there is no delay as seen from the street if you watched it.

Then put them in the windows since they are turned on and it all looks beautiful.

Re: Bethleham Lights Window Candles

We have been buying the plug-in timer candles at Michael's and AC Moore. I think they run around $5.00 each. So that's an option. That being said, we just bought 4 sets of the TSV to replace the plug-ins. Our way of getting them all on at nearly the same time is to station several people throughout the house for the initial turning on. It's not perfect, but close.

@CookieC25

I haven't read all the replies but I'd like to add my home in NJ had 16 front windows.

I bought at Michael's "sensor" electric candle lights for the windows.  I had them a long time and worked perfectly.  Batteries get very expensive no matter if they say they last 1 year from time you put them in -- I know my bethlehem votives/candle don't last very long.

The corded I think when you have so many windows is the way to go and the technology is certainly better than it was many years ago.  I haven't looked for them in years although I'm sure they must have them.

You don't need to "time" anything.  These candles offer a photosensor option where they will come on automatically at dusk.
