This category should be priced much less than clearance!  A387034 clearance price is $74.98 and same item as is price $91.75.

Oh yes, definitely. I saw that yesterday, while I was looking for either Last Clicks, As Is, or just clearance. There are no real price deals. HSN has much better sales.

Yes, I've seen this on occasion.  I wonder if it's an oversight by those who do the pricing.  Maybe not.  It could be a "gotcha."

I've always made a practice, when looking at As-Is items, of checking on the price of the new, in stock item.  It's amazing how often the regular, new price is less.

I think the issue is that, once something is priced for "As Is", it never changes, whereas the prices of in stock items do.  Always a good idea to check!

Thankfully, QVC normally puts the item number of the "new" item in the description of the As-Is, so you only have to click on it to check.

Similarly, one color of an item is sometimes offered as a savings in price over the rest.  When item goes to a sale or clearance, the savings price is not changed,  so now it’s more than the the other colors!

Another example of computer algorithms doing what they do without regard to whether it makes sense.
