I sometimes look here for certian products to see if anything in my size and have found a few things over the years. Still overpriced frankly for used/presented goods but some items don't really matter. What I am noticing lately is that an as is item shows as available and then I go to check out & it says its sold out & I just missed it. Happened a bunch of times now which is strange...if they dont have it fine, but why it is showing in one area & then telling me when I go to buy its sold out. Not a very good inventory system.

I've had enough of As Is
I've received items that smelled heavily of B.O. Or, of some dense strong laundry product that would not come out through several washes. Or even of cigarette smoke.
Burned thrice, not for me.

The issue of the 'just missed it' has been going on for months and it doesn't just happen with 'As Is' items.
There have been a thread or two already posted about this specific issue and I remember posting on at least one of them.
I don't understand why the QVC IT dept hasn't fixed the glitch yet.

Same thing has been happening to me,thought I was lucky when I went to "AS IS" found what I missed out on, had the color size clicked fast and said something like sorry sold out ,then why do you have it listed and this didn't happen once but like you said many times and all different items . It seems someone isn't doing their job in keeping up with what they have in stock in the "AS IS DEPARTMENT"

@SactoSue I don't order "as is"clothing so your post made me think that the so called returns department is really clueless to scents or don't care? How can they not notice and repackage that merchandise? Some posters have complained about perfume on an item, even new! Obviously a return.
I have only ordered "as is" home items like decorations and they usually are items closing out , limited selection or overstock from Q. I have been lucky.

It's a real annoyance, and it is not just the As Is products.
If your system can't even handle inventory control...?

I have bought many as is items and most have been brand new never used items.

I have had several items recently seemed to be "as is" when they weren't ordered that way. Packaging was weird and the enclosed order slip was different. In one case a pair of shoes came it a beat up plain box with no mention of what was inside. Like they'd been re-packaged.
