Sales prices ended at midnight for yesterday's holiday event. Today items that sold out yesterday are now available today at a higher price. How about extending sale prices atleast into the following day so that folks that missed out on a sale item can take advantage of the discount pricing.

That's probably because the impulse shoppers and those that ordered on check hold came to their senses and decided to cancel.

There's another Christmas day on Sept 23. Maybe, decor prices will be lowered again.

Do brick and mortar stores extend sale prices for those that might have missed the sale?
No!
They do not.
It is the customers responsibility to take advantage of the sale prices as they are happening, and if they miss the sale, oh well.
And yes, when I worked at Sears, I did have someone ask me to extend the sale prices that she missed out on.
If I miss out on a sale, I just chalk it up to it wasn't meant to be.
Why stop at yesterday's missed sale prices?
Why not ask if one can still get last year's sale price, or the price for five years w?
No, the customer has to take responsibility for buying as the sale is happening, and to not expect special treatment because they missed out on that sale.

@avid shopper I agree with you.
Because the item was sold out when the customer tried to order doing the promotion, and now they are back in stock only 24 hours later, I think they should get the sale price as long as they explain to the rep that it was sold out and now available.
It's different then someone calling a few days after a promotion when the item was available to order during the promotion, and they choose not to order, and then ask for the sale price later days later.

That brings up a question I've been wondering about. The next day those TSV and one day only items are on Q2 or Q3. The sale prices still show. Are they good then or not? I've never tested this out.
