That still doesn't seem to justify the charge - what bracelet was it?
I have always thought the same thing. Shipping and handling is just that...shipping AND the cost of handling (packing, labeling, etc.). That is until I placed an order for three Mally products this past week. I was charged separate shipping and handling for each item but they were all shipped in the same package (a small white envelope)
Really Q? It was funny because I had been reading these shipping threads shortly before I made the purchases! Oh well, I always weigh the Q price with shipping/handling against the item's price with shipping/handling elsewhere and then buy wherever I get the best deal. Sometimes that is the Q and sometimes not. Either way I got a good deal this time, even with separate charges!

I recently purchased 4 pair of pants from D&C in a color that was hard to find – bleached denim. While I normally wear the petite length, I had to purchase the regular length to get that color. I really wanted the bleached denim color so I figured I would pay to have them shortened. Well, they sent me 4 pair of true denim color (which were available in the petite length had I wanted that color) and they arrived all in one package. I returned them using the return label with a note indicating the bleached denim was much lighter and I wanted still wanted the bleached denim pants. The replacement shipment came in four separate packages, one pair per package…and they were the same color I returned – true denim.
What logic or financial sense does it make to send the same item, from the same location, at the same time in four separate packages? No wonder their costs are so high these days. My guess is it was a strategy to deter me from returning them again; assuming I would use the original packaging and provided label it would be cost prohibitive to send them back. I guess I won’t be buying multiples of things in the future if this is how it works.

Now that would be irritating...
