I don't know as much as most of you, but I'm rooting for Golden Tempo, with the first female trainer, and So Happy.

Years ago I went with DD on a youth service project to what I think was called "The Back Stretch" part of the racetrack. We had such a good time; met a few jockeys and a lot of the workers. We had dinner with them, then a church service in Spanish and English. They have a full-time chaplain at the track.  Smiley Happy

Screwed up my bets but I'm very happy for the connections. I did think to bet this horse just as a hunch when they were doing the walkover but never bothered to.

Interesting markings on this horse.

Wow!!! One of the best races I have ever seen. The length that horse had to win closing in and then just pouring on the coal and wins by a nose!!! First female trainer to win Kentucky. The first two jockeys in were brothers. Great race.

@silver Goldie   It doesn't interest me, mostly because of my concern for the horses being injured. I just don't care to see it so I am not familiar enough with it to talk about it.
