@Duckncover NOT Brittany Spears--Griner!  The basketball player.  NOT the entertainer.

She had a vape with m@rijuana in it.  She was leaving Moscow and the dog sniffed her bag at the airport there.

Russia doesn't take kindly to illegal (in Russia) drugs.  She could be in serious trouoble.

Griner plays in Russia's professional leaue during the WBNA off-season.  Many WNBA players are in Europe; the pay is better.  Russia has a significant problem with illegal drugs-marijuan and heroin.  Don't forget about its problem with alcoholism.  Griner will have some assistancee from the WNBA Plahyer's Association. I hope she doesn't became a pawn in the current political situation.

Re: WNBA player detained in Russia

WNBA All-Star Brittney Griner was arrested last month at a Moscow airport after Russian authorities said a search of her luggage revealed vape cartridges.

The Russian Customs Service said Saturday that the cartridges were identified as containing oil derived from cannabis, which could carry a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. The customs service identified the person arrested as a player for the U.S. women's team and did not specify the date of her arrest. Russian media reported the player was Griner, and her agent, Lindsay Kagawa Colas, did not dispute those reports.
