Olympic gold medalist sprinter Tori Bowie died in April. The medical examiner's report was just released.

She was 8 1/2 months pregnant, went into labor when she was alone and died from complications -- probably severe eclampsia.

Her body was discovered by police checking on her after calls that people hadn't been able to reach her.

Unbelievably sad.

@PickyPicky3   Incorrect.  It was eclampsia.

"Eclampsia typically occurs after the 20th week of pregnancy. It’s rare and affects less than 3% of people with preeclampsia."
