I'm in Southern CA, and my niece plays at her school in Buffalo, NY.   Last year I bought her the book Lacrosse For Dummies.    My sister goes to her games and was told that, apparently, she is considered very good .... you go, Samantha!!!

Both of my girls played in HS in NJ - it was just becoming popular in our area in the mid 90's. One of them also wound up in the hospital numerous for various injuries - very tough sport even among the gals! Then one went on to play in college - When she had a game in our area, I would drive to see it and get to see her as well!
