[I am still oxox]

The former NY Yankee All Star has announced that he has cancer. We had the prvilege of meeting him a few year back. He was a very nice man

Sad to hear that he is ill. He was a splendid center fielder for the NY Yankees from 1991-2006. A career batting average of .297 when he retired from MLB. Then he went to music school. 

He is a Manhattan School of Music graduate and is a classically trained guitarist. He also has released two jazz albums. 
I hope he can be treated successfully. I'm a big fan.

He works as an advocate raising awareness about liver disease, particularly liver cancer because of his mother.

But there are no reports that he himself has cancer.

I only saw one of those fake facebook posts about it, when I googled it the answer was that no he doesn't have cancer.

He officially announced he has Stage 3 prostate cancer...
